Sir Stampalot DT

"What's your crafty passion?" -  That's this month's theme at Sir Stampalot. Well, there are no prizes for guessing what mine is/are.... flowers, punching and dry embossing.

You'll find them all on this card.  The flower is a digi image from A Passion for Stamps and is called Crab Apple Blossom. The gorgeous border punch is Daisy border 2 from Tonic Studios and the Butterfly is their Multi Detail Butterfly punch.
The embossing folder is Lattice from Creative Expressions (discontinued, I think) and the paper is First Edition, Sweet Owl.

Don't forget to have a look at all the other beautiful DT cards on the Sir Stampalot challenge blog and join in to be eligible for the super prize shown below..

And now, a photo from Wednesday evening for those of you who missed the rain -

This was Boucher Road in Belfast, and it wasn't even raining when we left the house 15 minutes earlier!

  1. That some serious rain Ruth, goodness me.

Your card is delightful and the colours carried from the background to the image perfectly.

Congratulations on making it to rubber, well deserved recognition.

  2. I love this, Ruth! Pink and grey is such a classy colour combo, and the design showcases your lovely image perfectly. And congratulations on your fab news! Well deserved, as Brenda says.

Hope the floods have subsided now. We've had a lot of rain here, and the river has been over the bank again, but nothing like you've had.

  8. Hi Ruth, love your card, and I love the fact that you really have your own style of cardmaking. That looks like an awful lot of water! Had heard about the extreme weather over there but never realised you were there too. HUgs, Frea

Wow, the rain was something else wasn't it! Richard left Belfast just before the downpour, he said the sun was shining and there was no sign of rain....strange weather!
