I had a little free time for crafting today and, as I usually seem to be in a rush,I decided to try something a little different for me.
As you can see from the photos below,I made my own backing paper by colouring with a Whispers brush marker onto a plate, spraying with a little water and pressing the paper onto it. When it had dried, I ran it through the Cuttlebug in a Victoria folder and used it as a background for my "two roses" digi image.
Usually my cards have lots of pattern so I've tried to make the last few a bit plainer for a change to show off the image better.
The image is from my own collection A Passion for Stamps
and I've coloured it with Promarkers.
I'm entering it for the following challenges,
...song title..Paper Roses!
A Spoonfull of Sugar
Creative Card Crew
....April showers bring May flowers
...something different ( made my own paper)
....Spots (Swiss Dots embossing folder)
