Cardmaking and Papercraft issue 178 (Jan)

Issue 178 of Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine (Jan) was delivered yesterday so I'm taking time this morning to have a good read.
I have a few makes in this issue but the main ones are the little country cottage and village church I made with the Tonic Studios Tudor Town die sets.
There is a beautiful embossing folder and stamp set worth £10.99 for the free gift in this issue and as always, lots of lovely creations from all the contributors.
Many thanks to the team for all the commissions during 2017

Vintage Santa card - Trimcraft

I have a few cards which I didn't get around to posting photos of so I hope to sort that out over the next couple of days.
I was enjoying making some more distressed/vintage style cards for a few days and this is one of them.
I used the Santa Craft a Card die FEDIE203X17 but cut the Santa out from the centre. I've also used First Edition Star dies and Tree dies with some twine, Dovecraft Crystal Glitter Glue and Simply Creative silver glitter tags and silver gems.

I got a gorgeous new little great nephew called Albie a couple of weeks ago - a big brother for Kaya and Lori. I'll try to get some photos over the Christmas holidays to share with you .

Beyond the Shore Shutter card - Trimcraft

Just trying to forget about the weather for a little while with this beautiful new Beyond the Shore paper from Trimcraft :)

Joy! with Trimcraft papers and dies

This has got to be one of my favourite Christmas makes this year so far :) I love the Trimcraft First Edition "Winter Wishes" papers so I've used several designs along with Dovecraft glitter card, First Edition dies ( Snowflakes, Houses, Garlands and Front Door), Dovecraft Glitter Glue, Simply Creative gold bells and Simply Creative 3mm and 6mm gold gems (you've probably noticed that I can't get enough of these!!). I also used the Dovecraft Distressing Tool around the edges of the papers.
The template for making the stars is on the Trimcraft blog HERE

Belfast Christmas Market 2017

A busy day at the Christmas Market in the grounds of Belfast City Hall. If only I could bottle the sounds and smells....:)
