Happy Christmas

Wishing all my friends a happy Christmas. I know it's a difficult time for many of you not just this year but every year and I hope you have a peaceful time.

I made this card 11 years ago for my (late) mother and found it again in a box where she had saved all the cards etc that I had made her over the years. This year again, I've been delivering cards and calling with friends and have been so touched to see many of you have little collections of my cards which you have kept over the years. One friend had a collection going back almost 20 years, and even had quite a lot of decorations on her tree which I had given to her over the years. It brought back many memories as I had a cuppa with her (and added to her collection, of course!) I haven't made many cards this year so I have been deeply touched to know that not everyone throws their handmade card in the bin.....

As many of you know, I haven't posted any YouTube videos since February and I want to take this opportunity to say a massive Thank You to all of you who have sent so many messages. It has actually been overwhelming to get such a constant stream of messages on my channel, blog, FB, messenger, Pinterest, email and text. This is something I definitely didn't expect. I thought I'd slip off quietly and only a few would notice. However, I'm still getting such lovely messages. I haven't been able to answer them all but I hope to continue to work through them. They have meant the world to me!

Just a thought....maybe in the New Year I'll make occasional videos showing you ideas with simple tools and things you may already have as these have been popular in the past.

JUSTINE'S FARM COLLECTION by SPELLBINDERS

 

These are 3 cards which I made using the beautiful new "Justine's Farm Collection by Spellbinders.

I adored the sheer simplicity of how the BetterPress images turned out. You could leave them without even colouring for a classic look, colour them with a variety of mediums or hot foil them in the Glimmer System.

I decided to use Bibi's Intense Liquid Colors to watercolour mine and I hope you like the results. You can see the full collection and also how I made these cads in my video

SPELLBINDERS ON THE FARM COLLECTION

 

I loved the new On the Farm Collection from Spellbinders so much that I made all the farm animals on one card!

I also made a very easy stepper card which I think just suited the theme.

Spellbinders FEB'25 Clubs - MORE NEW IDEAS! Make a Shelf Card

 

The Spellbinders Clear Stamp & Die Club of this month really sparked something in my imagination! I didn't edit out the thought process behind these cards so hopefully you will see how I follow through from initial imagination to the final cards....I hope this doesn't scare you too much! lol

Watch along as I think, attempt and create a stage card which folds flat and make a cute little nest for Pip, the chick. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Good afternoon :) The "delicious" Sweet Spring Basket die set is now available from both Tonic websites! I have made the basket, strawberries, carrot and then adapted it a little to make an exploding box too. You can see it all in my video
