This poor thing has been gathering dust and spiders in our garage roofspace for years. I always knew I would want to "do something with it" and now the time has come.
I've given it a makeover with Plaid Chalk paint and am really happy with how it has turned out!
I'll be uploading some of the steps in the process in a few days' time.
That was brave Ruth but well worth the effort! It's a beautiful piece of furniture.

You made a great job with the painting Ruth, I love the trailing ivy down the drawer fronts. But I still wonder if some furniture collector in a hundred years will be trying desperately to get the paint off and take it back to it's original state!
