Passion For Promarkers......freebie image to colour
Good morning from sunny Northern Ireland!
I'm really chuffed to tell you that one of my new drawings is being used as a tutorial over on the great new Passion for Promarkers challenge blog. I 've been loving these challenges since they started and I'm totally addicted to Promarkers so it's a great combo for me!
Please nip over and take the image to colour.I'd really love to see what you do with it.
YOU WILL NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE IMAGE FROM THE CHALLENGE BLOG AS I HAVE A BLOCK ON IMAGES FROM HERE BECAUSE OF PROBLEMS WITH MY IMAGES BEING TAKEN WITHOUT PERMISSION.
SORRY ABOUT THIS BUT THANKS FOR YOUR COOPERATION.
I'm off to work now but hope to make a card with my image when I come home and upload it to the site.
Please let me know if you have used it so I can have a peep!
Enjoy, Ruth x

Colour Create/Truly Scrumptious
I've made a card to combine two challenges this week again.. Colour Create and the sketch from Truly Scrumptious .
The brief at Colour Create was to use 3 of the fruit colours kiwi, strawberry, tangerine, raspberry or blackberry and,as the optional extra, to actually incorporate fruit.
When I read the names of those colours I couldn't help thinking about pavlova!! Then we were asked out to supper last night and what had the lady baked....?
I came home and drew the fruit pavlova!
Using the Truly Scrumptious sketch I altered a flower by takimng it apart and adding a punched centre with a sequin.

I hope all you Promarker fans are enjoying the new Passion for Promarkers challenge each week as much as I am.I love drawing my own images and these pens are ideal for colouring them.If you keep an eye on the challenge blog next Friday you will find one of my drawings !!! I'm really pleased to have been asked!!
This is another new "Jenny" drawing to suit the colours for this week (royal blue and berry red) . I thought they needed a seaside theme,so here it is.
I've drawn dots on her swimsuit to fit in with Stamp with Fun for this week too.

Colour Create
Georgia picked the colours for her mum over at Colour Create this week and they are beautiful. The DT cards are very pretty ,too .Blush pink, lilac and mossy green,mmm....Well I had papers and an image and wanted to use the same fold I made last week but maybe this is too symmetrical..?
I used papers which I bought at a craft fair and my own drawing as usual, coloured with Promarkers. The diecuts I used are Woodware punches.

Pumpkin and cinnamon
I never seem to have an image to hand for these challenges so it's just as well I enjoy drawing new ones.I used to have a gorgeous little rabbit like the ones on the card, only black and white and I loved watching his antics.I hope I've captured them here.
I coloured the rabbits with cinnamon Promarkers for this week's passionforpromarkers challenge and used pumpkin to colour the carrots.I have also added 3 little flowers coloured with the same colours for good measure..
I think I may even have caught the glossy accents on the water bottle with the camera this time!
Ingredients;
Paper............................Daisy and Dandelion,Picnic patch
3 images.......................my own drawings
Fence............................Xcut Impress die cut
Flowers and leaves.....woodware punches
New Logo
Good morning! As you know I am working on getting images ready to sell as stamps from my blog but I have been slowed up a little by work etc.Things are still moving on slowly and last night my son,David, took a well-earned break from his A/S level revision to make me a little logo in readiness for the new venture. You can see it in my sidebar and feel free to take it and use it on your blog if you like.I used the photo of my passionflower which is growing in my garden..

Colour Create
It's time for my Colour Create challenge card again and this week it's"rainbow colours" with the option of "creating a scene". And I have not combined it with any other challenge........
If you look closely you will find I have included all the colours of the rainbow.I used Glossy Accents on the inside of the waterin can an on the spade but it hasn't shown up on the photo.
As usual, I drew the image for the challenge and this time I've use a different card fold.
Not much more to say about it ,just the ingredients..
Paper......................Papermania,Regency
Image......................my own drawing coloured with Promarkers
Xcut Impress fence die cut used in my Cuttlebug
Woodware flower punch
I don't usually add a sentiment till I know where the card is going!

Passion for Promarkers
Just about every card I make could be enterd for this one as I use nothing else but Promarkers!! Once I was introduced to them by Tara I was hooked.
This weeks colours are Pastel pink and apple so I coloured in a pelargonium which I drew and used shabbyprincess downloaded paper
The punches are Woodware and I have added a little doodling and a computer generated sentiment.
Now it's ready to enter a passion for Promarkers challenge!
Father's Day
Sadly my own father passed away when I was only 12 years old and I think about him every day but even more so at Father's Day as it was around that time that he died. However,on the bright side I do have a wonderful husband and I have made him a card from "the boys". I have combined the mytimetocraft challenge(making a Father's Day card) with the sketch provided by Friday Sketchers who are sponsored this week by Sirstampalot.
I drew the image because my husband is a joiner(carpenter) and coloured it with Promarkers.
I have aded some mini tools which I bought ages ago from a dolls' house shop.
And okay, for anyone who knows him.....he hasn't had this much hair since I married him 22 years ago!!

Truly Scrumptious
I can't believe it's actually finished!! This card took forever to make and it will be a long time till I try it again!! However, because it is for an"old"(as a term of endearment)friend it was well worth the effort.
The challenge over at Truly Scrumptious this week is to make a card with more than one fold and I tried to create a scene(not literally!!) using several of the images I have drawn lately because the man this card is for will be 90 on Thursday and for years he and I have swapped plants each summer. He certainly loves his garden.
There is no patterned paper but lots of cutting and sticking!
I drew all the images and coloured them with Promarkers and used my Woodware leaf punch and my Xcut Impress fence diecut.
He always appreciates my hand made cards so I hope this goes down well too.......
Just a couple of pics of my sons enjoying their food.As you can see,David eats a lot faster than Andrew!!

Another Promarker challenge card
Good morning,
I had already made a card for my neice (Hi Andrea!!) but a neighbour called in and bought quite a few cards and I thought I would have time to make another.I have used the same image I actually drew for the original card but have used a card shape I saw posted by a Docrafter a few days ago. As the passionforpromarker first challenge is still running I thought I would enter another card.
The image is my own sketch coloured with Promarkers(as usual!) Black and turquoise for the dress and ivory and vanilla for the hair.
The papers are DCWV black and white prints and I have highlighted the shoes and necklace with Rangers Glossy Accents.
Hope to be back later with a couple more..?
