Baby Boy

I had a card to make for a new little baby boy and it's quite unusual for me as it has no stanped / digi image to colour.Anyhow I used several punches (bottle, duck, doily border etc) so I'm entering it into the Sir Stampalot challenge where the prize is ....punches!
The little "frilly" bit of the bib was created by adhering lots of little punched hearts in gingham paper  behind the punched circle (which also has part of a smaller circle punched out at the top)
and also into the Create4Fun challenge where the theme is "a baby card" and ABC where the theme is Xtra dimension.
Thanks for looking!

Pastel Hellebore

Good morning! Just a quick post before I get caught up with some housework and gardening before the rain comes..
This is Hellebore one of my recent release of digi images and when I coloured it I thought the Papermania Regency DP would be a lovely background for it.

I've just managed to sharpen up my Martha Stewart doily punch so I used it to make a rosette and then matched this up on the corners.
I followed the layout from the Sketch Saturday challenge (rotated) but I haven't added the sentiment yet.
The colours fit the challenge at  Everybody Art...pink and green
You only have to scroll through the last posts on my blog to see that flowers have got to be my favourite things so I can enter this card for the Passion for Promarker   challenge. (I always use Promarkers for my images)
See you soon....I'm off to do some ironing!

Pup in Wheelbarrow

Back again! This is another of my new digi images available from A Passion for Stamps and although it's still on the gardening theme, it's more "country style" .
I've followed the sketch from Stampavie and coloured it with Promarkers.
I have used the colours for the challenge at Just Us Girls and added a hand made paper flower for the Crazy4Challenges weekly spot.

Fuchsia card

At last I've managed to finish some more drawings. As you can see,I DO love flowers and I'm really enjoying drawing them when I get the chance. This card uses one of my favourites, the Fuchsia.
It's one of the digi images which are on sale from today at A Passion for Stamps, so please have a look. I'll be uploading some cards with the other images soon.

I see I'm able to enter this card for a couple of challenges..
Papertake....ice cream colours
StampARTic....Flowers
Stamp Something....summer
DareU2Digi Stamp....Blooms and Butterflies

Now that lots of you have bought and used these floral images I'd like to add a gallery of YOUR cards to the Passion for Stamps site so just let me know if you'd like your card to be added!

Honey Pot

This card's been "buzzing" around in my head for weeks now! Actually ever since I noticed the honeycomb pattern on the back of a wall tile while I was at work. Then I found a beehive punch in a sale and I knew I just had to draw an image to suit.
I added some Glossy Accents and fine glitter to the honey and cut it out with Nellie Snellen multi frames

The new image is now available as a digi from A Passion for Stamps

Now I see it fits the following challenges..
Our Creative Corner...summer
Caardvarks...stamp and embossing
Create4 Fun...black, white and one colour of your choice
Everybody Art...things with wings
Cupcake...dazzle us
Corrosive....die cuts

The newest images are available from A Passion for Stamps and judging by the choice of the DT for most of their cards, the Columbine will be quite popular!

Please do have a peek at the slideshow HERE to see the cards made by my DT with these digi images, Ruth

New Digi images available

I've just added 4 more digis to my collection. You'll see them HERE

This one is called "anthurium" and looks great in different colours...green, red, pink etc. I've decided to keep the background quite simple as I need a few "elegant" (ie not fussy) cards at the moment.
I should say that if you scroll to the post (2 below) You'l see where I got the inspiration for this image. They were part of a fantastic large floral arrangement from my neice's wedding which she gave me afterwards and I couldn't resist drawing them (and the others) while they were in my living room just begging for it!

The others have been made by members of my DT and,as usual, they have done such a great job that I'm lost for words...

Crafty Calendar Challenge DT card

It's time again for another Crafty Calendar Challenge and this month's theme is "bugs and beasties" with the added option of "wings". I started off with a completely different card in mind but couldn't get it together (it'll keep until another time!) and eventually decided to make this one featuring one of my new digi images ..Columbine
Iadded a rather large butterfly and used this to add the sentiment.I've just got this rose Cuttlebug embossing folder and my guess is that it'll be used a lot on my favourite floral designs.
My garden is just bursting with flowers, especially perennials, at the moment and I've brought some in to draw so you'll see the others soon!
