Baby scrapbook page with Trimcraft "It's a Girl" - step by step with photos

The Trimcraft First Editions "It's a  Girl" 12 x 12 pad is jam packed full of gorgeous papers which I'll be using on lots of different projects but this page - with the beautiful rocking horses along the bottom is just perfect for the first (newborn) photo.
This is a premium pad - containing 5 glitter designs,2 fabric texture designs, 1 foil design, 1 sticker sheet  - and half of the pages are double sided!

The cute little baby in the photo is Eva, one of my beautiful little great nieces :)

I'll be showing you the steps in making this but first of all you'll need
It's a Girl 12 x 12 Premium paper pad
It's a Girl 6 x 6 Premium paper pad
It's a Girl gingham ribbon
Dovecraft Back to Basics 111 Paper blossoms
Dovecraft Mini bows
Dovecraft Forget me Not Buttons
Dovecraft Forget me Not Mini Bunting
Dovecraft Glitter Alphabets (Stardust White)
Dovecraft Adhesive Gemstones
Trimcraft Fun Fair Carousel die
white card

double sided tape
coordinating ink pads
piece of foam
cotton bud
3D foam squares

Tools
Diecutting machine

1. Trim your chosen photo to 11.5cm x 9cm and matt onto white card.
Matt this centrally onto a teddy bear patterned page from the 6 x 6 paper pad and attach to the page as shown with Double sided tape.

2. Using your diecutting machine, cut out the Carousel shape from white card.

3. Keep the die cut inside the die, turn the right side up and use coordinating ink pads to colour the visible parts. NB I have used a piece of foam dipped into the ink pad to colour parts of this and also a cotton bud for the more detailed parts.

4. Mould the petals from 6 paper blossoms and layer into 3 flowers. Add a flower shaped button and gem in the centre of each.

5. Add the baby's name to the bunting.

6. Glue the Carousel to the left of the photo along the edge of the patterned paper. Add the flowers and bunting as shown.

7. Add double sided tape along the back of a length of ribbon which is roughly twice the width of the photo.

8. Attach below the photo as shown.

9. Cut out two tags from the 6 x 6 paper pad.

10. Attach the tags beside the photo with 3D foam squared and add mini bows.
Add a bird sticker from the 6 x 6 paper pad sticker sheet among the branches of the tree at the top right.

Now...just have a look at the gorgeous pages and embellishments in the It's a Boy range.
The 12 x 12 paper pad has a really cute page with a little pram and shoes which is ideal for a similar project :)
