Newcastle, Co. Down

Saturday was the last day of our week off so this time we packed up a picnic and headed off in the other direction - to Co. Down. The weather was fantastic so we just enjoyed the scenery at Newcastle

Old habits die hard :) I guess I've always had a fascination for collecting shells, glass etc and enjoying the different colours and textures :)

  1. Thank you for sharing these photos to see what county Down looks like, my Great Grand parents Thomas Cowan and Margaret McCutcheon were married at Newtownards in 1847 - big mystery if only I could find their parent Both father's were John but no mothers names on the marriage certificate
