Promarker wreath

One of my favourite ways to relax is just to grab some random Promarkers from my desk and doodle some flowers.

Nicco

Aren't those ears sooo cute! It's definitely not east to work with this beautiful distraction beside me. I can't keep my eyes off him :)

Christmas Wreaths

I have been gathering supplies together to assemble into Christmas wreaths and love how they turned out!

I have used the following -
Gold hanging hoop 30cm diameter - Product Code: 52429
Simply Creative Candy Cane Pipe Cleaners
Simply Creative Polystyrene Baubles
Simply Creative red and gold Faux Berries
Wooden Snow Flake Decorations Product Code: 568090
White Foam Clay (78921/1)
hot glue gun.

The large gold ring is so beautiful on its own that I didn't want to cover it completely.
Firstly I covered the baubles in white foam clay, removed the loops and set aside to dry.
Next, I grouped a packet of gold berries for each side at the bottom. I wired them together and glued to the ring, leaving about 6 cm in the centre. I glued them to the ring and repeated with red berries just above the gold.
Then I glued a wooden snow flake to each side, above the berries and added a few more gold and red berries above these.I made 6 double loops from the pipe cleaners and glued these in behind the snowballs, and between the berries.
I used 4 pipe cleaners curled into loops to make the bow then added 1 pipe cleaner for the tails. I twisted another pipe cleaner around the centre to hold them in place, then added some glue to the back.

To make the wreath I bunched 2 packets of gold berries and 1 packet of red berries together for each side of the snowballs.I wired these together, wired them to the wreath and glued at the back.
Then I glued the snowballs in place in the centre.
I glued the wooden snow flakes behind the snowballs and then added double loops of pipe cleaners between the snowballs and the berries.

Christmas Belle dimensional card and box tutorial

I have used the Paper Addicts "Christmas Belle" 12 x 12  paper pad along with two little Simply Creative Glittered Trees to create a dimensional card and box. The card looks good either left inside the box or standing on its own.

You will need:
Paper Addicts "Christmas Belle" 12 x 12 paper pad
white card
Dovecraft Washi Tape DCWTBO54x19
Dovecraft Crystal Glitter Glue
Simply Creative 3mm silver gems
Simply Creative Glittered Trees

To make the card -

1. Trim a piece of A4 white card to 15cm wide.
Score and fold at 1cm, 4.5cm, 7.5cm and 11cm.

 2. Add glue along the 1cm folded part and fold into a tube shape.

 3. Fold the back of the card in half so that the bottom is level with the bottom of the tube part.

4. Cut grey snowflake paqper pieces measuring 14.5cm x 6cm and 14.5cm x 3cm.
Cut a piece of pink paper measuring 14.5cm x 2.5cm ( I have used a different pattern on the card).
Cut out the Christmas and Wishes from the paper pad. Fussy cut a double poinsettia, treble poinsettia and a bow.

 5. Glue the pieces to the card as shown above. Add a length of washi tape across the front of the tube and add the bow with a gem on top. Attach the double poinsettia on 3D foam squares and reserve the treble poinsettia for the lid of the box. Glue two Christmas Trees to the left side of the tube.

To make the box
1 Cut a piece of white card measuring 23cm x 18cm. Score in at 4cm on all sides. Make slits at the corners as shown.

 2. Cut pieces of patterned paper measuring 14.5cm x 9.5cm, 2 (14.5cm x 3.5cm) and 2(9cm x 3.5cm). Add glue to the parts marked with a star, fold them in behind and attach to make the box.

 3. The finished box base.

To make the lid -
 1. Cut a piece of white card measuring 18.2cm x 13.2cm and score and fold at 1.5cm on all sides. Snip in at the corners as shown.

2. Cut pieces of patterned paper measuring 14.5cm x 9.5cm, 2(14.5cm x 1cm and 2(9.5cm x 1cm). Glue in place as shown above.

3. Attach the treble poinsettia on 3D foam squares and add a length of washi tape across the bottom of the lid.

Craft Kit 27 - Create Something Magical Every Day has lots of beautiful autumnal stamps, fairy themed dies and lush papers, card and Nuvo products.

You can buy the kit here - https://www.tonic-studios.co.uk/pages...
I have only used a few things from the kit and also a Tonic Studios 7x7 white base card.
I've got a new little crafty helper tin this video! We have just got an adorable little rescue dog two weeks ago. He's called Nicco and we think he's around 2 years old. He loves to sit on my knee so has popped his nose in a few time at the beginning. He's been very popular on my Facebook page and Instagram account so I thought I'd share him on YouTube too for any dog lovers there. I've added a couple of photos at the end of the video :)
I'd love you to subscribe if you haven't already, so you can see my next creations :)
All the products used in the video were supplied by Tonic Studios.

New member in the family! Meet Nicco :)

I have to introduce you to our new arrival!
This is Nicco and he's absolutely adorable!
We'd been missing having a little pet in the house since Missy passed away in April and had been thinking about getting a little dog. We weren't sure what breed of dog to have but we knew it would have to be a little "rescue dog". After several months of asking around, I decided that a King Charles Cavalier would be the perfect match for our family so we started to check out a local rescue site.
When Nicco's profile came up, the whole family knew he'd be "the one".
After we had a home visit from the Rescue Centre and were approved we went to visit Nicco at his foster home. He is around 2 years old but was malnourished and small. Julie, his foster mum, had him for 4 weeks and did a great job at settling him.
This was taken on our first visit to see Nicco and I was over the moon when he fell asleep on my knee!

We finalised all the paperwork etc as quickly as possible and brought him home on our second visit.
That's us on the way home ...and yes! there may be tears in my eyes!

From here on in, just be prepared to be bombarded with photos because he is the cutest and most adorable (not to mention gentle) little dog ever!

After his first bath in our house.

He loves snuggling up to David when he is feeling under the weather :)

Out for a walk in the park

             Cheeky face!
