Good morning....here's another sample with the new Tonic Studios release dies. I've shown how you can simply cut out the wording twice to create a focal point as a shadow effect.
I love using pretty patterned paper on cards but I've kept this plain to keep the message clearly visible.
This card was really meant to be posted here yesterday but Blogger was playing up all day..I tried several times and had to give up eventually :(

Made with Papermilldirect pale turquoise, white hammered and black smooth card.
Ruth I've just been watching a repeat of these dies on C & C and I felt that they were way too busy to see the words clearly and the way you have shadowed them is a great solution....I won't be buying these...but....I am very interested in the Envelope dies....and I see Crafty Devils haven't them on pre-order as yet....do you know if they will be offering them for delivery in September? I imagine I can still use the envelope dies on a larger envelope as most of my envies are to hold an 8 x 6" card....however you may not have these dies yet either, I realise that...hope CD will have them on offer. See you have a big busy Autumn ahead of you!! Joyce in Cookstown.
ReplyDeleteHi Joyce, each new release from Tonic Studios is exclusive to Create and Craft for either 30 or 60 days (they will tell you at the time how long it is for each. Crafty Devils or any other shop will not have them in stock until that date. Hope that helps. I have the envelope dies and they can be centred to suit most envelope sizes but ibviously look best on a square envelope.
DeleteI see you live in Cookstown - maybe see you around at some of my demos :) Ruth
