Cards Using Tonic Studios Products

I am dedicating this page of my blog to Tonic Studios  products and all my cards etc which feature them.
I am a member of the Blog Tonic Design Team and therefore get to use their fantastic products.
New designs and ideas will be added regularly to the page.



Before I go any further I must say that I only feel free to endorse these products because I am delighted not only with the design of the beautiful punches etc but because the quality is excellent - take, for example, their innovative Simplicity Geared Punches. As anyone who follows my blog will know, I have a "thing" for punches! Over the years I've had many experiences of punches "jamming" and couldn't believe it when I tried these ones out...perfect punching every time with no effort required!


Here are a few photos showing how to line up the Simplicity border punches to achieve a punched border.

 1. Take note of the dashed line marked "First punch" and start your punching there.

 2. Move the punched part over slightly so that it exactly covers just the part showing above and punch again.
 3. Now move your punched part over so that the first punched part covers the grey template and continue in this way.

Tonic Studios have a super little border system which can be used with several of their punches. I have used this with the recommended punches and also used other Tonic punches after I had punched the border itself.

CARDY CARD  using Edger 5



Another of my favourite craft tools from Tonic Studios is the Mini Trimmer. The blade is so sharp and the trimmer holds the paper so tightly that you can cut very fine strips of paper and these are great for use in quilling.
