I made this card 11 years ago for my (late) mother and found it again in a box where she had saved all the cards etc that I had made her over the years. This year again, I've been delivering cards and calling with friends and have been so touched to see many of you have little collections of my cards which you have kept over the years. One friend had a collection going back almost 20 years, and even had quite a lot of decorations on her tree which I had given to her over the years. It brought back many memories as I had a cuppa with her (and added to her collection, of course!) I haven't made many cards this year so I have been deeply touched to know that not everyone throws their handmade card in the bin....

.As many of you know, I haven't posted any YouTube videos since February and I want to take this opportunity to say a massive Thank You to all of you who have sent so many messages. It has actually been overwhelming to get such a constant stream of messages on my channel, blog, FB, messenger, Pinterest, email and text. This is something I definitely didn't expect. I thought I'd slip off quietly and only a few would notice. However, I'm still getting such lovely messages. I haven't been able to answer them all but I hope to continue to work through them. They have meant the world to me!
Just a thought....maybe in the New Year I'll make occasional videos showing you ideas with simple tools and things you may already have as these have been popular in the past.
