Crocuses

It's another grey, wet and windy day here so I thought I'd share a bright Spring card with you!
As you can see I've used gingham paper again - I can't get enough of the stuff  (as well as gingham ribbon) and have to keep telling myself to use something else, otherwise it would be on all my cards.
This is one of my new drawings and is called "Crocuses" (what else?) and you can see it HERE along with the little Cairn Terrier I drew a couple of days ago. I've also printed out some of my Snowdrop digi images and will be using them soon too.
Perhaps I'll  get more drawing done now that I'm off work looking after my husband....

While I'm in this frame of mind I'll probably be going BRIGHT to compensate for the lack of sunshine!

  1. This card is really beautiful Ruth. I hope you get plenty of new drawings done....though with these horrible grey, wet and windy days Im sure its hard to find inspiration from nature....unless you want to draw a soggy moggy in which case I have the perfect cat model for you, lol! Lee x

  2. That was my thinking totally Ruth, Spring cards to make us think the weather better than it really is.

Never make excuses for using gingham, I think it always looks so fresh and crisp and compliments you lovely crocuses beautifully.

  8. A stunning card, Ruth! I too am addicted to Gingham at the moment. I used red Gingham on lots of Christmas cards too. Hope the weather brightens up for you soon. We have had one bright day here this week so far. The wind is very chilly though
