With Love 3D

Hello......maybe you saw this card on Create and Craft today? Here are the close up photos.
I've used the Indulgence Affections Square base die for the background with Heart base die as a frame on top.

The sentiment is from the Everyday sentiments 3 set

To give the dimension but also leave the card able to be folded flat for postage, I have "popped" it up on a cube of card stuck down with hi tack DST.

See you soon with more.

Soiree dies (on Create and Craft today)

Just realised the beautiful Tonic Soiree dies are on Create and Craft today so I am showing you 2 Christmas cards I made using elements from the sets.

NB...I've had lots and lots of emails asking for a tutorial on how I made the swing card which was on the shows a couple of days ago and it's coming soon but I'm very busy getting ready for Christmas just now and will upload it as soon as I get a chance.

Punch and Stamp flowers...lots of photos

Seeing that these Punch and Stamp sets are currently on Create and Craft I thought I'd show you some close ups of the flowers which I made for the shows too.
The first two photos are of flowers made with the Carnation, Sweet William, Peony set

The next three are made from the Peruvian Lily, Evening Primrose and Corncockle set

Get Well Easel card

If you've got lots of Tonic dies already you won't want to miss the storage folders!! Tune in to Create and Craft at 10.00am to see what everyone has been talking about!

Here's another card with the beautiful new Tonic Studios Indulgence Affections dies - this time I've used the Heart base die just over the edge of the card fold to create the back and front - keeping them both joined at the top.
The outer dies are the Heart Base dies and the inner dies are from the All my Love set

I made a little stand for the back of the card to keep it stable

Heart and zipper

Have you been checking out the Tonic Studios Pick of the Week on Create and Craft? Hope you liked this one! As I said, I had so much fun making these!

I thought the little zipper was a fun touch .
I have used the Indulgence Affections Heart Base die, "All my Love" die and the flowers are from the same paper as the card - made with the Carnation, Sweet William ,Peony Punch and Stamp set. I added 4 Tiara corners to finish it off.

Hearts and pink roses

Have you fallen for these new dies yet? I have more ideas with them than time!! I love them..This one has the smaller die from the Indulgence Affections Square base die set with a stamp from the Roses set. I've offset it onto a black square made with the bigger die in the set.
I've added silver corners from the Sensational Sprig set

See you soon with more :)

Platinum Pearlised card offer at Papermill

I've made lots of Christmas projects already and have moved on to other things now - as you'll see tomorrow ;) so here's a little tent card made with the beautiful Platinum Pearlised card which is on offer at Papermill this week.

This card is 300gsm and you can buy 75 sheets in a box for £7.50!
PLUS
All orders over £25 qualify for free shipping!
Until 9am Monday 16th
You can see the offer HERE

The gorgeous pearlised sheen is so classy looking!
Take a look at this close up-

It cut like a dream on the Xcut Xpress and holds its shape well.

I've used the Tonic Studios With Love Indulgence Semi circle die and some flowers made with the Peruvian Lily, Corncockle, Evening Primrose Punch and Stamp set. The background paper is some 12 x 12 Papermania I've had for a while but I liked it because it matched well with the turquoise ink on the flowers. I've also added a little Cristal Stickles and some beads on narrow ribbon.

Someone Special swing card

This is another card with the new Tonic Studios dies on Create and Craft as Pick of the Week.

I've made the card from a sheet of A4 ruby red Papermill card- it's all one piece, folded and cut with a craft knife. The centre part is the Indulgence Affections Square base die with the Someone Special die i the middle. I've added Loopy  Lace borders and a flower made with the leaves and stamens from  the Peruvian Lily, Evening Primrose and Corncockle Punch and Stamp set

Heart easel card

Tomorrow, tomorrow!! It's only a day away! The fabulous new Tonic Studios Pick of the Week starts on Create and Craft at 11.00am with a 2 hour show!!
So...I'm sharing another sample card with you :)
I just love how the sets of Indulgence Affections dies all complement eachother.
I've used elements of the Heart Base die set to create this easel card, then added the inner part of the Someone Special set to the centre.

I made the flower and buds with the Peruvian Lily, Evening Primrose, Corncockle  Punch and Stamp set .

What a hoot!

It's Tonic Pick of the Week sample time!! Don't forget to look out for all the beautiful new dies etc coming on Create and Craft tomorrow :)
There are lots of gorgeous heart themed dies this time and it was just a tiny piece of "waste" from one of these that made me think of the owl ...
you can see it at the bottom left and right corners.
The wings are made with parts of a die cut heart and the feathers are embossed petals from the Clematis, Lily, Poinsettia Punch and Stamp set

Centre step card - with tomorrow's Tonic POW

This time I've made a centre step card and made a little house for the centre panel with the Layering Square dies and Scalloped Square layering dies

I die cut one of the heart shapes out of the centre square and then added the "Someone Special" die cut in two different colours to look like a shadow.
I have added swirls from the Frond Finesse die set at each side and a Daisy 2 punched border along the bottom.

Heart gift bag

Ok, here's the start of my samples fro the new Tonic Pick of the Week which starts on Friday....

A little gift bag made from the Tonic Studios Indulgence Affections Heart Base die set with a handle made with the Love Arch border punch.

The centre is from the "Someone Special " die
and the flowers were made with the Peruvian lily, Corncockle, Evening Primrose Punch and Stamp set.

Remember this?

These photos were taken in October at the demo in Donegal Stationery, Letterkenny and Bernie sent me the newspaper clipping this morning. I love going there to demo - it's always a great time with all the lovely people who come during the day.  Just seeing the photos again brings a big smile :)
Thanks, Bernie.

Papermill Artist Pad Offer

I have a little bit of Aqua Marker painting to show you on the Luxury Artist Pad from Papermill .

I've used Stazon ink to stamp the image on the pad and scribbled some Aquamarker onto an acrylic block.
Then I added water to the ink with a paintbrush before adding it to the image, building up the layers using less water for the deeper shaded parts of the flowers.

 See you soon :)

Papermill offer - white buckram card

There's a great offer at Papermill this week - the beautiful white buckram card which I've used above.
I've kept the project simple to show the beautiful texture - I've also used it for the card base, punching, diecutting and stamping. Just look at the way the texture shows through the Promarker colouring!

This card is 270gsm and the offer is...

     Midi Box: containing approximately
260 sheets for £14.00
Mega Box: containing approximately
645 sheets for ONLY £31.00
(that's less than 5 pence per sheet)

The card used for the matting and layering is Papermill Ruby Red.

I've also used the Trellis Wall die, Topiary tree stamp from the Country Cottage stamp set, sentiment from the Christmas Cracker die set and mini snowflake punch  - all by Tonic Studios.

The stamp is coloured with Promarkers and I've added a little Cristal Stickles  :)
The embossing folder is Swiss Dots by Cuttlebug.

Butterfly Lattice semi circle dies

These dies went like hot cakes!! Well, no wonder - they are beautiful! Here's another sample made with the Butterfly Lattice set. This time I've cut the pattern into the centre of a square of purple card without using the outer circle die. I've simply highlighted the butterfly wings and some of the flowers on the diecut with Crystal Stickles. The flower is made with the Clematis, Lily, Poinsettia Punch and Stamp set with Frond Finesse swirls.
It's a really simple card to make but the beautiful dies give it a very professional finish.
The card used is Purple Grape from Papermill Direct
