VALENTINE APERTURE POP UP CARD

 

Another card from me today, which can be adapted to suit any occasion. I have seen similar cards with a pop up circle aperture but thought it would look beautiful with a heart. You can use any shape of aperture you like :)

VALENTINE CARD WITH POP OUT PANELS and Punch Craft!

 

Today's card is a Valentine but you can most definitely adapt the idea for any card you want to make :)

I used a few punches which I have had for a while, to make the little bears, funky little glasses and balloon etc. These are simple shapes and could also be die cut if you have a machine, or hand cut, if not.

DOUBLE FLOATING POP UP CARD - PLUS how to make a rabbit from simple shapes!

 

I got totally carried away making this one! I bought a gift for a new baby girl and when I got it home, I decided to make a coordinating card.

I hope you enjoy watching both how I made the floating pop up part and also how I used some simple shapes to make a little rabbit. I'd love to see more people using their punches and dies more creatively. In fact, you could easily hand cut the shapes I used in this one :)

EASY Coffee Dyed Papers for Junk Journals and Card Making and more...

I have been having great fun using coffee to dye paper from some junk journals which I hope to make soon and decided to make a video to show my process. I hope you enjoy watching how I used the papers to make a card too.

I used my coffee in a spray bottle but you can definitely submerge your papers in coffee in a basin or container.
