Good morning :)
This is my Guest DT card for week 724 on the Allsorts Challenge Blog where the theme is "create your own background". There are some beautiful cards there for your inspiration from the Design Team :)
I've used Nuvo Shimmer Powders (Falling Leaves, Golden Sparkler and Sunray Crossette) sprinkled onto card and spritzed with water for my background and I also used a small piece cut from this card for the background of my sentiment.
The Pheasant is a digi image from my website - Ruth Hamilton Design and is really easy to colour. I used Nuvo Classic Colour Pencils and then fussy cut the image and glued it onto a die cut made with the Friendship Frames, The sentiment is from the Simply Sentiments die set.

Gorgeous card, Ruth. The lovely background for your beautiful image is just perfect. We saw several pheasants as we were driving through the countryside last week. We had to stop a few times as they were just stood in the middle of the road! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks very much, Liz. They are beautiful birds and I've tried many times to get a photo but they seem to stand in the road teasing me until I get the phone ready and then disappear :) xx
