One sheet easel card - Trimcraft's Free Spirit

The Free Spirit paper pads from Trimcraft are available in 3 different sizes - 6x6, 8x8 and 12x12 . The patterns, colours and finishes on the papers are very luxurious, with golds, teals and purples. Some of the papers are glittered and look amazing!
I've made a "one sheet" easel card and hope you will give it a try too :)

You will need:
Dovecraft A4 Heavyweight white card
Trimcraft First Edition "Free Spirit" 8x8 paper pad
Dovecraft A4 Tropical Card Pack DCBS206
Dovecraft Gold Glitter Glue
Dovecraft Rainbow Ribbon DCBS 202
Simply Creative 6mm adhesive pearls
Dot & Dab Foam Tape
Dot & Dab hi tack tape
Dot & Dab Tacky Glue

To make it:
 1. Take an A4 piece of white card and score it at 9cm , 18cm and 27cm on the long side.

 2. Attach foam tape along the inside of the end folded piece.

 3. Fold the narrow piece back onto the card and this becomes the stopper for the easel.

 4. Cut the following pieces of card - white card - 14.5cm x 11cm
                                                       metallic card - 20.5cm x 2.25cm
                                                                             - 20.5cm x 8.5cm
                                                                             - 14cm x 10.5cm
                                                   patterned paper - 20cm x 1.75cm
                                                                             - 20cm x 8cm
                                                                             - 13.5cm x 10cm

 5. Glue the pieces together as shown above.

 6. Cut a piece of white card measuring 7.5cm x 7cm and a piece of metallic card measuring 8cm x 7.5cm. Cut an elephant from the paper pad. Glue the white card onto the metallic card and attach the elephant with foam tape.

 7. Add a length of ribbon across the top of the elephant panel and secure at the back with hi tack tape. Add glue on the back, leaving a little space free from glue at the bottom,
 and attach to  the card.

8. Add a little length of ribbon on the left and tie in a knot.

 9. Cut 3 strips of patterned paper measuring 1.5cm x 3cm, cut tails at the ends and glue up in below the elephant panel. Add gold glitter glue around the points and pearls on top.

 10. Cut 3 feathers from the paper pad and glue at the bottom right of the elephant panel.

Double envelope with cards YouTube tutorial (Trimcraft)

Good morning:)
I've just posted a video on my YouTube channel showing how I made this double envelope with cards inside using the brand new Dovecraft "Paper Posies" collection from Trimcraft.
I also give a little run through the collection as I know you'll want to see all the beautiful bits and bobs.
Thanks again to everyone who has subscribed to my channel  I'm getting more used to "talking to myself" now so hopefully you'll be seeing more videos from now on

Dovecraft Premium Adhesive Glitter Card

I've been using the Dovecraft A5 Premium Adhesive Glitter Card!! So many ideas! I cut it with the Bee themed dies and it cut and adhered to the little bottle like a dream🐝
This card can be cut with scissors, dies and on all major electronic cutting machines.

Bookmark card - Dovecraft Double sided Glitter Card from Trimcraft

The Dovecraft Non- Shed Double Sided Glitter Card from Trimcraft is perfect for making bookmarks etc. It can be cut with scissors, metal dies and can also be used on all major electronic cutting machines.
I have made a card with a bookmark attached as a little gift for the recipient. You can see both sides of the bookmark through the aperture.

You will need:
Dovecraft A4 Double sided Glitter Card DCGCD041
Trimcraft First Edition Chasing Rainbows 8x8 paper pad
Trimcraft First Edition Baby Themed Dies FEDIE288
Trimcraft First Edition Nature Dies FEDIE296
Dovecraft 5x7 window cards DCCE011
Dot & Dab Tacky Glue
Dovecraft Rainbow Ribbon DCBS202
2 large gems

How to make it:
 1. Cut a piece of iridescent card from the paper pad to 12cm x 17.25cm and attach to the front of the card.

 2. Open the card and remove the paper covering the circle aperture either with a circle die or a craft knife.

 3. Attach the circle of paper directly behind the aperture on the inside of the card.

 4. Die cut the Congrats from the Baby Themed dies and use the larger butterfly die from the Nature themed set to cut out 3 different coloured butterflies from the glitter card.

 5. Cut a 12cm x 1.25cm strip of iridescent paper and glue both ends across the card, just below the aperture. Glue the Congrats in the centre and add a gem at each side.

 6. Glue the 3 butterflies together as shown and add a loop of ribbon at the top. Die cut/ punch 2 small dots and glue on top of the ribbon .

 7. Slip the bookmark down behind the sentiment strip.

Paint pouring -inspiration from the garden

I was doing a bit of gardening yesterday morning and had an idea for some paint pouring. I know it's not going to last forever because I didn't take time to preserve the leaf first but I love it!

I've also painted some laurel leaves and they turned out well.
There are so many things around us every day that we can adapt to use in our craft. So many ideas...so little time!
