Demo at Fagans, Mullingar - Sat 8th April

My next demo is on Saturday 8th April in Fagans, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. I'll be using gorgeous paper collections and embellishments from Trimcraft and Painted Finishes from Plaid.

I always enjoy my days with the ladies in this shop and am hoping to see some of my friends there :)

I'll post more samples next week.

Folk Art paint from Plaid

Another exciting delivery - my Folk Art paint from Plaid has just arrived!

As soon as I finish some prep for a demo next weekend , I'll be opening these and getting a lot of practice before I share what I'm doing :)

One Stroke Painting from Plaid

Ooh, something new and exciting for me to try :) I've been eyeing this stuff for for a few weeks and this arrived just now!! Thank you so much Plaid Crafts :)

Once I get some paint I'll be diving into this, full steam ahead

 I just had to balance things with this Dad card after posting the Mum one earlier :)

I've used another Trimcraft 6x6 Craft a Card die and double cut the centre in white to create a shadow effect. This time I layered the star bunting on the banner bunting to match the stars in the card die.

The paper is Trimcraft's First Edition "Wild Flowers" and the pearls are Simply Creative :)

 Another Trimcraft Craft a Card this morning - did you notice I love these?

I've used the 6x6 Flower Craft a Card die with a Nesting Doily and Tag with Mum from the Family Sentiment set in the centre. My favourite Bunting is at the top (layered, of course!) and I've added  lots of Simply Creative pearls :) The paper is from  the Sweet Nothings paper pad.

One more from me before I pack up for the evening. 

I've used Tonic Studios new Paris Landmark dies with the Diamond Corner Dot and Drop die and Blue Crush Glow in the Dark Drops :)

A little treat :)

 Hello :)  I've got a little treat box to share today (just the box - the chocolate is NOT for sharing!!)

I used the Tonic Studios Shadow Box  and made a sleeve which I've decorated with a Cockle Shell Layering die and Frankie Fox :)

It's a handy place to hide some chocolate. I can't believe I actually put the chocolate in there a few weeks ago and forgot all about it :(

 This is another card made with the new Trimcraft Craft a Card dies. I've used the 6x6 Flower die this time with the beautiful new Sweet Nothings paper. The other dies used are Trimcraft Nesting Doilies, Bunting and Dance - with Simply Creative pearls :)

Inspiring Ideas, Blanchardstown, Dublin tomorrow

I'm just packing my samples for tomorrow's demo at Inspiring Ideas - this is a very simple little favour bag made using the Trimcraft Nesting Bloom and Doily dies with a Podgeable Shape from Plaid Crafts over the butterfly stamp.

The demo times are - 11.00am - 4.00pm

Moss paint frame

Hello again from Missy :) If only cats could smile!!

I painted this frame with Folk Art Moss Painted Finish (light and dark) and added a little Rust finish on top. The banner dies is from Trimcraft and I used two sizes of their Nesting Blooms dies to make the pansies :) As always, I've used Simply Creative Pearls - also from Trimcraft :)

Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine- issue 168 (April)

I've just received my April issue of Cardmaking and Papercraft :) My commission in this month's magazine is a mini baby album and was an absolute treat to make. It was one of those things that I enjoyed making so much, I didn't want to part with it!

There is a beautiful free gift with the mag as always- a stamp, papers and embossing folder set and lots more fantastic inspiration for your crafting inside.

Hoppy Birthday to a 1 year old

 This is a 6x6 dimensional card made using the Tonic Studios Naive Neilla Window Box die set along with Betty Bunny and Windsor Numerals Simple Type dies. The Window box dies are really easy to use and assemble and add something a little different to your card :)

Mothers Day card

 Well, I managed to make my one and only Mother's Day card a week early! I made this at the weekend and surprised myself!

It's an 8x8 card and I used a Trimcraft Butterfly 6x6 Craft a Card die in the centre with Blooming Lovely papers around the edge and on the inside and, of course, added extra butterflies (Dovecraft dies) and pearls :)

Demo on Saturday (25th March) at Inspiring Ideas, Blanchardstown

Good morning :) This is one of the cards I'll be making at Inspiring Ideas, Blanchardstown, Dublin at my demo on Saturday - it's a double fronted card made with Trimcraft's beautiful new Wild Flowers paper and some First Edition dies.

I've a busy week ahead so I have the prep for the demo almost finished and packed up - just looking forward to setting off and meeting some of you there :)
