Feeding time again!

 Out with the birthday boy!
There were"others" there too but I haven't added their photos without their permission! ;)

In bloom - what's in flower in the garden at the moment

I just had to post a few photos of what's in bloom in the garden at the moment. I really need to get out there with a lawnmower instead of a camera but this will do for today :)

Charlotte Cameo tent card

I made a short video showing how to make a simple tent style card with the Tonic Studios Indulgence Affections dies yesterday. I still need to edit it to add to my blog but you will be able to see it on my FB page HERE in the meantime. Today's card is another take on yesterday's card but this time I've used the Charlotte Cameo Rococo die inside,

The patterned paper is Bella Rose 6x6 pad from Trimcraft.

I used the Intrica Elegant Drape border punch for detail along the top with "Buttermilk" Crystal Drops in the centres of the flowers. You can see the lovely detail of the Papermill white linen card on this too.

And on the corners I've added diecuts from the Verdant Vines die set.

Up at the Port ( Portrush and the annual Raft Race )

We're just home after a lovely day at Portrush and I'm posting a few photos before I go and wash all the sand off!
This place is like a home from home to so many folk from Northern Ireland - filled with childhood memories :)

Demo in Art and Hobby, Drogheda on Saturday 30th May

Next weekend, on Saturday 30th May, I'll be demoing in Art and Hobby, Drogheda. This time I'll be using lots of lovely Trimcraft ranges (including the Santoro Mirabelle range used in my sample above as well as Bohemian, Kaleidoscope etc), Decomache, Plaid Chalk Paint and Promarkers etc.
I hope some of you are free to come along and join me there :)

Rhoslyn fairy die - Tonic Studios Rococo

Good morning - this morning's card is showing another of the beautiful new Fairy Rococo dies from Tonic Studios. This one is called Rhoslyn. I've used the First Crush heart dies to create a patterned aperture in the card and then the scalloped heart from the same set to add a heart cut from Trimcraft's Bella Rose paper.
The little flower to the right is another of the new Rococo dies - this time it's Bluebell Butterfly, a petite die.

I've added a strip from the Celtic Dream Collectables die set to the top of the card.

The card base and all the die cuts are made with White Linen card from Papermill.

Dovecraft Value papers by Trimcraft - Leyton

This card and gift bag are made with the Dovecraft Value "Leyton" paper pack by Trimcraft and I've used several Trimcraft dies along with it - Nesting Stamps, Alphabet, Vintage Signs and Tags.

I've hand cut several of the flowers from the paper and decoupaged them onto the background paper.

Bloom and Grow - Dovecraft Value papers by Trimcraft

These are two more sample cards showing the new Dovecraft Value papers by Trimcraft - this time I've used "Bloom and Grow" with their beautiful muted cottagey type of patterns.
I made the large butterflies from 4 First Edition Window dies and handcut butterflies from the papers on top. The other dies used are from the Doilies set.

Bohemian scrapbook page (Trimcraft) with little Eva:)

Good morning! This is a 12 x 12 scrapbook page I did a few months ago and once again forgot to post the pic. Sometimes this happens when I make things before the products are released however little Eva's page has been on my travels with me for a few weeks so plenty of folk have already seen it.
I used a page from the 12 x 12 Bohemian paper pad by Dovecraft (Trimcraft) as the background as I thought it was ideal for fitting a photo onto....and of course, chose a photo of my cute little great niece, Eva, which was taken on her first visit to Northern Ireland.

I hand cut lots of embellishments from some of the other pages in the pad eg the peacock, butterflies and bird.

I've also used the Bohemian Doilies, Trimcraft First Edition Nesting Stamp dies and Tag dies.

The buttons and wooden elements are also from the Bohemian range.
