Good morning!
I don't normally "do" vintage but gave it a go this time for the Sir Stampalot September challenge where there is a photo for your inspiration...and I quite like it so I'll definitely be trying it again.
Some of the other Design Team members are well used to this vintage style so you should really check them out if you want to see it at its best. I chose the roses and lace from the photo and added a little bit of distress ink around the edge of the main panel which was cut with my Tonic Studios rectangle Shape Mate.
The Rose is, of course, from the Pick of the Bunch Roses stamp set and this time I've just decoupaged one petal to add a little bit of depth.
The border punch is the Tonic Studios Scalloped Arc punch, the butterflies are the Multi Detail Butterfly and I've decorated the top corners with the help of the Pansies Accent punch and corner wings.
WOW!! This is stunning Ruth. I LOVE your image and the colours and detailing are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a good Sunday
