Pelargonium
Tonight's card uses my new "pelargonium" digi image , now available from A Passion for Stamps and I've used gingham paper again with raffia because it gives the card a cottagey feel.
The embossing in the centre panel was done with a Cuttlebug "Frills" folder which I got for Christmas and hadn't used yet. I love the way the Nellie Snellen ovals can be "stitched" around the edges and have a few more ideas for them.
I have followed the sketch from Create 4 Fun and am also entering it for the challenge at Saturday Challenge,Secret Crafter.....stitching.

Enjoy your weekend! Ruth
Pip with Buddy
Good morning! I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! I'm glad to say the snow which was forecast for overnight didn't come !
This morning I'm showing another card I made with my new character, Pip. This time the image used is "Pip with Buddy"which you will find at A Passion for Stamps.
I've followed the sketch from Friday Sketchers and used 3 different textures (embossing, Sculpey dog, raised leaves) for the Crazy4Challenges theme this week.
Cupcake challenge....friends
Crafty Creations...cut it out and pop it up ( the leaves)
I absolutely LOVE these Sizzix leaves and have wanted the die for ages but couldn't get it anywhere and have run out of my leaf supply sent by friends! I was so happy to get this on ebay this week and 24 hours after I won the auction, the die was at my door! Now you're going to see them on everything!
The little dog at the bottom of the card was made with Sculpey which I haven't used for years. I found a little mould on the lid of a kids' toy and used it. I got some strange looks last night when I asked my husband not to let me forget I had a dog in the oven!
One more thing....The border down the edge of the embossing was made from the cut off from a fence die cut and while I was fiddling with it I realised that there are actually 5 different things I can make with this die.......how sad am I?
See you soon with more of my new digi images.

Introducing Pip!
And now for something completely different!!
For those who have asked for some boy/teenage images, I thought I'd show you the first couple of digi images in this theme which go on sale from A Passion for Stamps today.
I have drawn a series of images of Pip and Pippa which I'll be adding to over the next while.
In this card I've used "Pip chillin' " showing Pip on his beanbag listening to his ipod.
The other new realease shows Pip sitting on a step with his little dog "Buddy"
I'm entering this card into Papertake Weekly as I've used their sketch
Please have a look at the other digi images on A Passion for Stamps and let me know what you think. Also feel free to contact me with suggestions of what you'd like to see me draw.

Rose topiary
Hello again!
I'm showing you my "rose topiary" digi image this morning from A Passion for Stamps which is one of my new collection based on the flower theme. I think this one lends itself more to the vintage look so I've added some distressing, old paper and lace.
When I was actually drawing the image I had thought of adding a bow to the stem but left it out so you could add your own bow to give texture.
I've used Glossy Accents on the berries and flower pot (see close up pic)
I had Mothers Day in mind with the release of the floral images but in the next few days, you'll see some completely different images.
I'm entering thic card for the following challenges;
Allsorts....tag/label/ticket
Totally Papercrafts....Lots of Spots
A Spoonful of Sugar...distress inks,pearls and glitter

Single rose digi image
Good morning.
Today sees the release of my new digi images!
They are now available to see and purchase from A PASSION FOR STAMPS
It has taken me longer than I thought to get it sorted but I hope you like them anyhow! I have focused mainly on flowers for the first lot because the floral stamps proved so popular! However I have various other themes on the "drawing board" which will follow soon, so please keep an eye on my blog.
I am delighted to introduce 2 new DT members whom I first "met" through Docrafts.
Alex's gallery caught my eye as soon as I joined Docrafts and, long before I started a gallery of my own,I was signing in just to see her latest creations. Not only does she make wonderful cards but also some amazing boxes and containers.
Elaine has a unique style of card making which is instantly recognizable in the best possible sense. Her cards usually have a strong, bold feel to them which makes them stand out. It's not the first time I've been scanning the Docrafts gallery and knew right away that Elaine had just posted a card!
I feel very honoured to have both of these ladies on my design team and I'm looking forward to seeing what they both do with the images!
Alex and Elaine will be joining Christine who has already been making the most amazing cards with my stamps and has a fantastic knack for entering a record number of challenges at one time. I don't know how she manages to finish the cards so professionally and get the time to look around challenge blogs, too!!
Now, onto my card.
I've used the "single rose" image which I must confess I have coloured in numerous shades from pastel to bright but this one is an entry to the Creative Inspirations challenge where this week's theme is "Sepia"
I have followed the beautiful sketch from Stampin for the Weekend and used my Victoria embossing folder so it is eligible for the Sophisticat challenge
Please have a look at A Passion for Stamps where you'll find a slideshow of the cards made by the DT
and also.... A HALF PRICE SALE of the clear stamps in the sidebar!!

Allsorts DT call
I'm really busy at the moment but I'm working on getting some of my drawings made into digi images to sell from my blog and I thought I'd give you a peek at one of them...
I just couldn't resist having a go at this challenge.I'd really love to be on the DT for Allsorts challenge blog.
I drew the little cabinet, coloured it with Promarkers and decoupaged the drawer so that I could let some "beads" hang out.
I've added glossy accents to the lamp and vase and also some stickles to the tissue box just to make it glitter some more.
I've just had a look at all the other entries for this DT call and there are some beautiful cards but I wanted to try anyhow. I hope it catches someone's eye..?
Right, I'm off to bed now but I want to make another card tomorrow if I can.
Sleep tight! Ruth
